Planning Commission

    The Planning Commission typically meets the second and fourth Thursdays of each month to hold regular meetings.  Rezoning public hearings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month, as needed.  The Commission meetings are open to the public, and are at 6:30 pm in the Township Board Chambers at the Civic Center on Romeo Plank and Canal Roads.

Commissioners

    The Planning Commissioners are appointed by the Township Board of Trustees after recommendation by the Township Supervisor.  They each serve for 3 year terms and can be re-appointed.  State enabling legislation allows for a total of 9 members on the Planning Commission, one of which must be a Township Board member.
