Q. When and where are the Police Department vehicle auctions held?
A. All vehicle auctions are held at Clinton Storage, 135 N. Groesbeck in Mt. Clemens, MI. Auctions begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.. Any person wishing to view the vehicles before the auction may arrive at 8:30 a.m. and sign in. If you wish to bid on a vehicle you must sign in prior to 9:00 a.m. and have a valid drivers license.
Q. How do I schedule an Officer to speak to an organization?
A. The Support Services Division is responsible for all Public Relations functions for the Police Department. If you are interested in scheduling an Officer to speak at a meeting such as Homeowners Associations, Neighborhood Watch Groups, Scout Troops, etc. call 586-493-7800 and ask for Support Services.
Q. When can I come to the Police Department to pick up property that has been confiscated or recovered?
A. The Property Officer is available Monday 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Please schedule an appointment to pick up your property by calling 586-493-7800 and ask for Support Services.
