Projects

Since its inception in 2003, the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) has completed three major projects that its work plan set out to accomplish.

  • New LED street lighting was placed in the median of Gratiot Avenue to make the DDA bright and inviting.
  • The DDA contracted with a company to install landscaping improvements in the Gratiot median.
  • The DDA installed new entrance signs at Gratiot's north, and south ends within the median to clearly define the DDA boundaries.

The DDA maintains all three improvements.
